Much to our joy, the An Evening With series returns to Bristol’s Marble Factory in April. Following on from Flo Po in December and Hessle Audio in January, the next act to step up to the mark is the Belfast-bred duo of dance music, Bicep (Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar).
As well as producing and DJing, Ferguson and McBriar work alongside Hammer (Rory Hamilton) to upkeep Feel My Bicep, the cult-defining music repository. At their Bristol date in April, we look forward to a honed-in set of signature Bicep sounds: forgotten disco, Chicago house, Italo edits and plenty more. Strong support will be provided by Bristol’s homegrown DJ collective, Pardon My French, whom we can always rely to provide the dancefloor goods.
Following on from the AEW parties that the Shapes family have already anointed unto us, we firmly back the AEW concept of carefully curated parties showcasing one act for a whole night long. 2nd April is firmed up in Stamp’s diary already.
