Simmering away towards the back end of 2014 like the perfect Christmas hotpot came news of the debut release from brand new Tbilisi and Paris based label Transfigured Time. We’re delighted to premiere its opening track ‘Quiet Loop’, a deep and dynamic groover from Bakradze aka Gacha, one of the minds behind the label itself.
‘Quiet Loop’ seems to coax all the senses, like a puppet at the end of carefully tied strings it will have all your limbs moving as well as that nodding head you started off with, as it builds layer upon beautiful layer. When broken down there’s a feeling of near-placidness when listening to each understated element. Yet the combination of the subtle shakers, morose keys and the addition of a casual rhythmic bass line make for a course you won’t want to stop, simply crank up the volume.
