Einerlei – Berg (Kesper Remix)

Leeds-based imprint, Slipstone Records, have announced their second release, a concept EP from young London producer Einerlei.

Accompanying Einerlei’s originals of atmospheric and melodic techno, is a remix from Leeds producer Kesper, who we featured last year with his track ‘Re-Entry‘, taken from his own debut Slipstone. Here, Chris Pawlik offers an ethereal take on the EP’s second track, opening it up and focussing on the bassy progression. The track begins with a muffled pulsing key stab, setting up the rest of the layers which slowly emerge from the gloom. Kesper does away with the harsh claps from the original, meaning nothing breaks up the drawn out bass swells. The remix has elements of Âme or Tale Of Us about it, a slow burner with rewarding climaxes, easily fitting with the remainder of the EP.

Escapism EP is out 26th January on Slipstone Records, both digitally and on limited edition, hand printed vinyl. Pre-oder now from Juno.
