Young Bristol resident, Oscar Henson, has been keeping loyal to bass driven music ever since his arrival in the city as a student. Earlier in 2014 he released Loveless EP on Idle Hands, featuring Hodge on the flip; a very Bristolian affair. Since then he’s established a new label, Wisdom Teeth, with his Sub FM partner K-Lone, which aims to be an outlet for ‘darkly functional music’. ‘Poliwhirl’, on the B-side of Wisdom Teeth’s debut, packs bass lathered drums under a woodwind whirl, similar to the one found in Compa’s ‘Tibetan Chant‘ or Happa’s ‘Secrets‘.
