We’re going to lay down an audacious claim: Poland is the hottest new property in all things balearic and sun-kissed house. With Very Polish Cut Outs, Zambon, Ptaki and off-shoot The Phantom there’s already a strong collection of producers bringing the sunny island sounds to northern Europe. With the release of his new EP on Legendary Sound Research, it’s time to add wonder-kid Selvy to that illustrious list too. The title track is our pick of the bunch and we’re delighted to premiere it here. Gotta Have It is awash with emotional strings, distant soulful vocals, an elegant piano and a funky bass line on top of a crunchy, disco drum rhythm. LSR have also supplied some visuals, taking things back to the 90s with some footage of en-masse poolside dancing. A summer festival anthem in the making right here, remember where you heard it first.
