Débruit are one of a handful of producers who are taking sounds from Africa and fusing them with more Western, Electronic productions to glorious effect Romare and The Busy Twist). The trio will be joining Lee Scratch Perry at the Electric Brixton this friday, and we featured Akoula as part of our preview, taken from their debut LP From The Horizon. While that went on sale back in June, a remix EP has been released today and one track really stands out. LV has also been incorporating African influences in his recent Sabenza LP (see our favourite below), so remixing Débruit makes perfect sense, especially when this new Jungle/Footwork version is so spectacular.
