Since the release of the dance floor destroying Socket Power EP, Adam Pits has sealed his status as a herdsman of hits. His colourful sound and affinity for building an assortment of club-ready moods is evident in his releases on Coastal Haze, HAWS and, of course, Holding Hands where some of his weightiest slammers reside.
After spending years providing their city with some of the best parties, where Adam Pits remains a resident, Leeds-based On Rotation launch their record label with Adam’s debut LP, A Recurring Nature. Drawing inspiration from time spent in nature with friends as club nights faded from our consciousness, the LP sees him weave between downtempo introspection and club-centric bangers.
‘As Far As Eye Can See’ is a trippy, hypnotic cut that channels his deeper cosmic side with its slow chugging bassline and spaced-out synths, simultaneously calling on his cellist background for an added layer of emotion.
A Recurring Nature will be released on 16th July via On Rotation.
