This week’s is curated by Seasonal Affected Beats, the alter ego of beat maker and composer Tarun Balani, regarded as one of the finest jazz drummers in India. His new EP is out now. In his own words: “The mix includes a sonic landscape ranging from the comforting voice of Begum Akhtar, fresh improvised electronica, celebrating what would’ve been Marvin Gaye’s 81st birthday, and to paying homage to the legends we’ve lost, the mighty jazz pianist McCoy Tyner, and the soulful singer-songwriter Bill Withers.”
