Cruise from 2000 Indian folk to 1991 Belgian acapella afro pop and early 90s leftfield ambient jazz.

Welcome back to a fresh week and a brand new mixtape to set you off on the right note.  This week’s mixtape was curated by Joel, founder of Hackney’s General Public parties and hosts a monthly radio show on Balamii radio.

In his own words… “What an honour to be able to put together none-head-noddy mix. Living in the busy realms of London, it’s a mix to evoke mild feelings of transcendence for the grey days of February turning into the lighter days of March. A feeling of hope for the down trodden commuters in London town and world wide. A mix For northern hemisphere winter sufferers and the southern hemisphere sun worshipers.”
