Monday Morning Mixtape 282

Drift from a 1980 Blade Runner theme track to nostalgic London punk funk via 1979 acapella soft rock and 1987 smooth Belgian soul.

Welcome to not just a brand new Monday but the first Monday of a fresh decade. This week’s mixtape has been curated by STW Editor and one half of Kiara Scuro, Rosie Ama.

“It felt apt to make a special mixtape for this one; something that echoes the sentiments and feelings I have about going into the new year and leaving the last one behind. A little hazy and slow to start, sometimes quick to reflect, but hopeful and optimistic. Most of these tracks are personal and remind me of some of the lovely people I have in my life, including some who are sadly no longer with us. I hope it helps blow away some of the New Year cobwebs.”
