Premiere: Brian Summers – Girl In The Dark (Mark Seven Risqué Remix)

London-based party starters Feelings don’t take themselves too seriously; building a reputation for their lively knees-ups around the capital city. Since kickstarting their label arm, Feelings Worldwide, in 2016 with NTS resident Kasra V’s The Window EP, the crew have brought the likes of Dream 2 Science, Keith Lorraine, Jovonn and Larry Houl on board, using this as another platform to nurture the sounds that their parties have always championed.

Next up they welcome one of their nearest and dearest, resident Brian Summers, a man who has played a major role in shaping the sound and aesthetic of Feelings since day one. Coaxing him out of the shadows and into the light for his debut EP, Brian steps up to deliver three original tracks that span Italo, hip-house and leftfield pop. Our pick is Stockholm-based producer Mark Seven’s remix of the title track ‘Girl In The Dark’; a playful spin on the original that strips out the vocals and warbling synths for a crisp Italo number.
