Monday Morning Mixtape 210 saunters through classic Indian raga, London 50’s jazz and 2015 Irish ambient tones to 2017 soul-steeped hip hop and soft-boiled Russian electronic IDM.
Today’s mixtape is curated by DJ Dandruff, one half of duo Radio Dao (along with STW’s Peachy) who host a monthly show on Balamii Radio. In his own words, “I just moved to a new city and although my branches can expand into a new place, my roots have also been (voluntarily) cut back. The backdrop to this mix is sitting on a train, in a new city, often alone, looking around and hoping to find something.”
