Monday Morning Mixtape 208

A new week, a new soothing route to get it started. In Monday Morning Mixtape 208, roll through cinematic 1969 Italian film scores, 1975 French jazz fusion to 1984 L.A. electro funk.

This week’s Monday Morning Mixtape is curated by Paris-based DJ and musician Jackson Milas, co-founder of Pique-Nique Recordings.

“This mix is a tribute to the Worldwide Festival and the beautiful home in the South of France, Sète. Evoking the feeling of arriving in Sète on a warm evening in a vision of romance and classic cinema, this mix draws from Italian film composer Piero Piccioni and his score for 1969 film Scacco Alla Regina, and the beauty of 70’s Brazilian MPB, before joining up with an evening against the Mediterranean Sea in the Théâtre de la Mer.”
