Gwyneth Herbert & Armed KwaLu join Tony Allen & Vels Trio at Ealing Jazz Festival 2018

Joining afrobeat figurehead Tony Allen and some of our London favourites Zara McFarlane, Nérija, Vels Trio and TriForce, Ealing Jazz Festival have announced further names today to complete their 2018 programme, running 28th-29th July in Walpole Park, London.

Soundtrack and theatre composer Gwyneth Herbert performs her seventh album, Letters I Haven’t Written10-piece ensemble Dat Brass perform from their debut album Half Timewhile Kate Tempest’s live drummer Kwake Bass heads up his Armed KwaLu outfit with Joe Armon-Kones and Wu-Lu. Further additions include Norma Winstone, Andy Twyman, Andrew McKay Quartet and Maurizio Grondona Group.

Before the main event, stage partners PizzaExpress Live will host a preview on 6th June featuring TriForce and Keith Waithe and the Macusi Players. £15 tickets are available from the Pizza Express website.
