With muffled kick drum, sun kissed melody and xylophone, ‘Repeater’ has all the elements to make it perfect for the current warm weather.
Taken from Snafubar EP, the second EP from FYI Chris on Rhythm Section it’s got those rough-hewn percussive elements that characterise the Chris’ productions, with a strong melodic core that typifies Bradley Zero’s A&Ring. Cowbell trills, a Caribbean patois and wandering bassline are cleverly employed into a multi-layer arrangement that offers much to focus on and plenty to revisit, review and repeat.
Snafubar EP is out on the 14th April – buy from Rhythm Section Bandcamp and Juno.
