The Black Madonna, Jayda G, Young Marco and Helena Hauff play Gottwood 2017

Gottwood Festival returns this June for it’s 8th outing with a lineup full of it’s favourites and usual surprises, carefully curated and spanning everything from the quirkiest of minimal techno to the sun drenched sounds of Africa. A quick scan over this years listing will reveal many familiar names; Move D, Ruf Dug and Bradley Zero return in tandem with a plethora of associated artists including Glowing Palms, Jayda G and Tenderlonious, whilst the deeper digging sound of European techno is heavily represented with Zip, Margaret Dygas and Sonja Moonear to name but a few. Live sets are in abundance, with both bands and electronic performances strewn throughout, varying from the joyous sounds of Dele Sosimi’s Afrobeat Orchestra through to the deep and melodic textures of Mathew Jonson. Other notable inclusions see Craig Richards return for another lengthy set, Helena Hauff and XDB heading up the techno and Young Marco and Antal taking to the lawn for an afternoon set
