For almost 14 years, from their intimate West London home, Jazz re:freshed have modestly and consistently championed the finest jazz in all its varied incarnations. Every Thursday from the small stage at the rear of Mau Mau bar, the team provide a platform and a returning home for jazz acts at the beginnings and primes of their careers, including Richard Spaven, Kaidi Tatham, Omar and Yussef Kamaal.
This summer they return with another regular event in their annually run JAZZ RE:FEST festival. A day promising live jazz of the highest caliber beckons, with the lineup consisting of genre blending keyboardist Mark De Clive-Lowe, London soulsters Native Dancer and virtuoso pianist Robert Mitchell. We’re particularly looking forward to performances from Moses Boyd and his Exodus project and of course 2000black‘s Tatham, Mensah, Lord and Ranks who will both bring the fire in their own individual ways.
What’s more is that Jazz re:freshed bring this all to you for FREE. For the full lineup and more info, check out the Facebook event.
