Stamp The Wax is a London-based online music magazine journeying through genres, continents and musical eras to present the best in underground music through quality and engaging content; from editorial to mixes, events and videos.
As a key tastemaker online, STW was heralded as Gilles Peterson’s favourite online publication of 2015, charting at #3 in Mixcloud’s favourite blogs/magazines of the year and winning Mixcloud’s 2015 award for their fortnightly show on Radar Radio.
At heart though, we’re just a bunch of music geeks who like to obsess over music and share it with anyone who cares to read, listen or watch.
What We’re After?
We’re looking for any like-minded music-obsessed movie makers out there who would like to become part of the Stamp film famly. The ideal person will be passionate about both music and film, with a good knowledge of the music we put out on the site.
You would be assisting the team to create our video content, which includes live sessions, interview-style videos (e.g. record shopping with…), live event projects (festivals/DJ & live shows) and extended documentaries. Self-shooting and editing skills essential.
It will largely be working remotely, coming together for meetings and shoots as and when they happen. You must be based in London, however, we also will be filming around the country, so do still get in touch and specify if you live outside of London for future projects.
Filming and editing skills are essential. Your own camera equipment is also a necessity. We are ideally looking for someone who can both film and edit, but we may still consider you if you just film or edit.
