Monday Morning Mixtape 113

MMM113

Welcome back to a fresh new week and another brand new mixtape to soundtrack your Monday morning.

With all the love that’s been flying around this weekend today we bring you a post-Valentines Day simmer down special, flirting with the silkiest of soul, jazz and rare global sounds. Ease yourself into the new week with a 1980’s Tennessee blues cover of Bill Wither’s “Ain’t No Sunshine” classic, warm your ears with a hybrid Caribbean-Afrobeat record that dances between Africa and the Amazon, and groove to a hyper-contagious sun-tinged disco gem from Italy circa 1983.

Alongside dusty old gems, expect a dreamy vibraphone house jam from Maurice Jnr. and Roy Rozell and a freshly cut rolling jazz joint off the new Banoffee Pies release. Happy Monday!
