Just Jack has been responsible for Bristol’s – nay, Britain’s – most tastefully curated line-ups over the last Ten years. We’ve asked them to put together for us their favourite musical moments over that time and if, for some reason, you haven’t been to any of their parties, the descriptions alone on each of these entries makes clear their musical objectives and shimmering final executions. For ten years, they have shared their exquisite tastes with the comings and going of Bristol’s nightlife and you can tell, with completely transparency, that they just love fantastic dance music played in great surroundings, through great systems. TEN MORE YEARS.

10 Years of Just Jack is going down on 6th February in Bristol with a strictly unreleased lineup. Grab tickets and info from Facebook.

The Persuader – ‘Slussen (Go Dub Mix)’

Just Jack Garden Boat Party 2015 – While the last tune of the night, ’N-Joy’, possibly got the loudest cheers, it was this one played by our rezzie Tom Rio that really stood out as one of the highlights. Best crowd in the world at the best festival in the world. Getting to do our own party on the infamous Argonaughty was definitely one for the memory banks!

Shackleton – ‘Blood On My Hands (Ricardo Villalobos Apocalypso Now Mix)’

Villalobos playing his remix of Shackleton – ‘Blood On Your Hands’. Villalobos had been a bit of a pipe dream for us for so long and we felt like it wasn’t going to happen. He turned up and bought the goods and when he played this everyone knew that they were witnessing something special.

Kink – ‘Existence’

Steffi dropping this at the House Party in 20112. The whole room went off.

Chemise – ‘She Can’t Love You’

The sun was shining in the Crane Yard at last year’s Day Party and Pender Street Steppers played this. Never was the word “wwwwwwwibes” more appropriate.

Will Saul – ‘Pause’

The boat party afterparty, which started at 9am after our party at Dojo’s, with a 100 person barge heading off from Bristol docks and up the river to Bath, was legendary to say the least. The sun was beaming, the party juice was flowing, and it went right off! So much so, the bristol police were waiting for us on our return.

Omar S Feat L’Renee – ‘S.E.X (CGP (Conant Gardens Posse Remix)’

Omar S’ entire set from the day party last year…sometimes you just realise you are witnessing something truly special. An artist, a legend at the top of their game and with the crowd eating out the palm of their hand. It’s a good job their wasn’t a roof as it would have been torn right off (actually the roof did cave-in when he played our show the year before, free special effects yea?). Him dropping the Garden Posse remix of his anthem as the sun went down was a particular highlight.

Dualton & Ruthit – ‘Black Market’

Just Jack hosting the legendary Space Terrazza in 2013. It went arrrrrrrf! Those who were there know!

Mr G – ‘Daily Prayer’

Was dropped in his live set in 2013 at our Halloween show. The crowd lost their shit and I was having a shit so missed the whole fucking thing 🙁

Beesmunt Soundsystem – ‘Close To Me (Amir Alexander’s Body To Body Deep Dark Excursion! Remix)’

Amir Alexander playing his remix off our first record.

Tanner Ross & Soul Clap – ‘The Shady Shades’

Soul Clap dropped this filth in the tunnel at our Birthday, i’m pretty sure i was prodded by the boner someone got for this track. i think it was an accident so he’s forgiven.
