You’ve probably heard us sing the praises of this talented hip-hop group before. When tend to raise our heads every time new material comes out (not enough in our opinion), so here we are again to shout about the release of their debut album. @Peace and the Plutonian Noise Symphony is their third release and most complete work to date. If you’re hoping to hear club-ready beats and verses about fast cars and doing unspeakable things to women, turn away now. This is a concept album of sorts, dealing with physics, philosophy, existentialism and the universe. The subject matter may not make the album as instantly accessible as @Peace or Girls Songs, but it’s a real step up for the Auckland outfit, and a sign of a group who have matured in their production, lyrical content and whole approach to making music.
