Portuguese producer Oma Nata‘s releases are coming thick and fast; a result of long, fruitful studio sessions over the winter months. Hot on the heels of his Everything EP in January released on his home of Discotexas, he readies a second EP for the label which showcases his versatility and inquisitive nature as a producer.
In contrast to the upbeat house cuts on his previous EP, Circulate explores synthetic electronics and deeply stirring ambient from the off. While the lead track opens with meticulously crafted electronica, the following two cuts wander blissfully into atmospheric realms. Our premiere ‘Night Spirit’ is the perfect continuation of its predecessor ‘Morning Hackney’, dissipating the latter’s warm glow and making way for dark reverb-soaked tones.
