Taking inspiration from sounds across the world, new label Breathing Room Records‘ releases will be driven by one defining factor: percussion. Inaugurating the imprint is Polish producer Universo, who’s previous releases on Catz N Dogz‘ STEP Recordings and Polish mainstay Transatlantyk, demonstrated his knack for creating a wonderful sense of atmosphere. This manifests throughout Spheres but especially on today’s premiere, closing number ‘Exhale’. Doing exactly what it says on the tin, it’s trickling rainforest textures, soft patters of percussion and peaceful melodies take you to a place of serenity.
