Unclear records’ name is a good representation of the label’s approach to A&R. Started in 2011 by brothers Niro and Elia Peronne, their output can’t be confined to a specific sound or genre, with previous releases ranging from Roman Fluegel and Move D to Fred P and Gigi Masin. Next up is ‘Amarena’, a full length LP from label boss Elia, which follows his collaboration with Gigi on the label in 2016. Today’s premiere is the title track, a wash of dreamy soundscapes and warm pads, punctuated by subtle drum patters and soaring reverb-heavy guitar licks.
