Now approaching ten digits on their eponymous edits series, Al-Tone make the jump to Razor-N-Tape who have an equally hearty reputation for putting out – in their own words – “respectful edits”. On ‘Groovin”, the Chicago duo of Al Bumz and Tone B strip things down to a clavinet-driven steamroller, with some belting vocals and a monstrous instrumental bridge in the middle.
