This weekend sees one of the best venues in London turn 15. Tastemakers since their first party on 21st October 1999, Fabric is famous for its attention to detail in terms of sound and some of the best programming this side of the German border.
So what do we know about proceedings for this weekend? Firstly, Fabriclive are kicking things off with a shindig on Friday, inviting Four Tet for a four-hour set, with Goldie and Doc Scott going b2b in Room 2. The real proceedings start on Saturday night, with the beginning of 30 hours of non-stop music, boasting 15 headline acts.
Berghain residents Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann are playing together all night, something they reserve ‘for special occasions only’, in their own words. Another heavyweight b2b comes in the form of Innervisions’ Dixon & Âme alongside Matt Tolfrey of Leftroom Records fame and Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO. Seth Troxler and Ricardo Villalobos continue the star-studded list, and of special note is a rare live set from Mathew Jonson, something we saw in Bristol last year and blew us away. And of course Craig Richards will be keep a close eye on proceedings.
We’re going to see how our stamina holds up, see you on the other side.
