Throughout this week a series of seven streams will take place in memory of DJ, On Rotation co-founder and our STW family member, Alex T, who sadly passed away from bacterial meningitis last January.
The first stream kicked off on Monday 19th in Alex’s former home, Leeds, and will run every day until Sunday 25th April, moving to Manchester, Berlin, Bristol and London.
Curated by Alex’s little brother, DJ and radio host Bugs Groove, in partnership with venues, collectives and parties across the five cities, the streams bring together over 80 DJs, including Bruce, Yushh, Perception, Iration Steppas, LUXE and Tañ, with a target of £5,000 set to raise money for Meningitis Now.
This series of streams follow last summer’s first round—hosted in Leeds, Manchester and London—which raised over £11,500 for Meningitis Now.
