This Thursday multi-platform music project CDR takes online its renowned series of artists talks discussing career and creative insight. Following the launch of their new offering of Interactive production workshops last week, they pick up where they left off with their offline mainstay, but with a particular focus on the impact of the crisis on careers and well-being while sharing advice on how to continue creating.
In the first of four monthly discussions, founder Tony Nwachukwu talks to producer and label head, Desert Sound Colony. Looking at how he has used his own platform to teach others as well as dissecting a track or two, all live across Youtube and Facebook Live. The programme is completed by Hyperdub Queen Cooly G, grime-soul producer Mr Mitch and the prolific Glasgow club scene lynchpin, Nightwave.
As usual with a CDR session, producers of all abilities are invited to submit tracks in progress to be shared and given feedback live on the stream.
Head over the CDR site for more information.
