Nod from Canadian ambient to 70s US soul, 80s UK synth-pop and 2018 US hip hop.

Welcome to a new Monday Morning Mixtape, to help start your week on the right note. This week’s mix was curated by Timor & Lora Mipsum of London-based collective SOBA, who run regular not-for-profit free parties; where this year, money raised from each event has been donated to the Young Urban Arts Foundation. This year they’ve raised a total of £981.24 over 4 events.

In their own words: “The aim of this mix is to soothe any hangovers, blues or anxiety people tend to feel on Monday mornings. We tried to start with ethereal ambient jazz with natural elements to ease you in, and then move through a mix of modern jazz, folk, rock, reggae, soul, and hip hop to lift your mood and get you ready for the week ahead.”

Catch more of Timor & Lora next month when they playing at The Tribes closing party on 14th December.
