Saul is a new project from Barney Whittaker of YAM-signed Footshooter and Vels Trio keys player Jack Stephenson-Oliver, cooking up the sounds of South London for their debut EP on Rhythm Section.
Following lead single with Poppy Ajudha, ‘No Fuss, No Fight’ sees them link up with Steam Down poet Brother Portrait, mixing the soulful 2-step lyricism of The Streets and MC Pinty with the jazzy broken beat of Dego and a small cap doff to Mala’s ‘Anti-War Dub‘.
