From very humble beginnings when just 300 people formed its entire population, to present day at 3000; the figures certainly demonstrate one side of Brainchild Festival’s achievement over the past six years. But the real accolade however, is for Brainchild’s capacity to maintain it’s unconscious and unspoken communal magnetism that has seen artists return year on year, to share new projects an ideas. Sensitively balancing steady growth whilst continually supporting emerging musicians and creators has been has been a huge part of the practice and ethos behind the festival’s success and this year is no different.
