Street food specialists Kerb return to Peckham Rye Park on 27th May bank holiday for the second edition of their festival, Jam on Rye. Year one had a heavy focus on reggae but the 2019 edition draws on the full palette of London’s diverse sound.
Singer, songwriter and also Cordon Bleu chef, Kelis, headlines the festival in the same year as her debut album Kaleidoscope celebrates its 20th anniversary. Other musical highlights include Soul II Soul frontman Jazzie B, Omar, Barney Artist, General Roots, Steam Down, Shyone, Jordss, Aisha Zoe, Kwasiba Savage, Alex Rita and Waella’s Choice.
While food is an ever-present part of music festivals, few other promoters can boast to be such experts as Kerb and Jam on Rye. Bleeker Burger (voted best burger London) will lead the food charge alongside Club Mexicana (voted best street food in London by Time Out), Only Jerkin’, Carcass, London Smokehouse, BBQ Dreamz and Baba G’s who both won investment on BBC’s Million Pound Menu. Local traders include Deserted Cactus, Garden Of Eden and Bokit’La.
Check the full lineup below and buy tickets at the Jam on Rye website. Kids under 12 go free and under 17s get 50% off.
