After launching as Albania’s first international dance festival this year, Kala 2018 has revealed its full lineup.
Tom Misch, Roy Ayers and Todd Terje top the bill, alongside The Black Madonna, Tama Sumo & Lakuti, Earth Trax and Flo Real. The join a cast that include Underground Resistance, Peggy Gou, Mister Saturday Night, Or:la, Maurice Fulton, Jayda G, The Pilotwings, Alfredo, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy and the beach forest residents Jan Schulte, John Gómez, Bjørn Torske, Nick The Record, Brian Not Brian and Jenifa Mayanja.
In a slightly unconventional format for a festival, Kala is only accessible by sea, which will be specially charted for festivalgoers as a boat party from Corfu. Once registered on Albanian soil from a pop-up customs desk and safely onsite, all festival accommodation is within a 15 minutes walk.
