Like those plucky little salmon on their migration upstream, Dimensions went against the current last year, literally turning their lineup on its head for a billboard campaign that placed the emerging talent front and centre. There was more to it than just a heartwarming marketing move though, as the subsequent launch of their DJ Directory proved.
The Directory is a project aimed to help support and develop young and emerging DJs whose movements orbit Dimensions and their partners and put the grassroots talent front and centre in the festival’s thinking . Across an in-depth interview, we spoke to many of the 2017 recruits about the important issues they face in developing their careers and it showed the calibre of Dimensions’ selections.
It’s an initiative we’re fully behind and so we’re delighted to be official partners this year, starting with the announcement of the 2018 recruits: Ash Lauryn, Born Cheating, Daisy Moon, Kiara Scuro, Masalo, Michael Upson, Molinaro, Nas1, Ruby Savage, Yukari BB and Yuri.
