Yesterday Dimensions Festival kicked off its exciting radio broadcast partnership with two of London’s leading stations Worldwide FM and Balamii in a four hour takeover at the WWFM headquarters. Extending the festival’s musical memorandum to the airwaves the show featured live sets and drop-ins from the likes of Larry Heard, Cymande and Antal.
The new partnership will continue into the summer throughout the festival itself, as the two stations broadcast live beachside over the four days, bringing absent Dimensions family a little closer to the action. Expect chats mixes, jams and more, with Balamii taking control on the Thursday and Friday and Worldwide FM rounding off the weekend. But all this is still to be looked forward to after a second station take over at Balamii yet to be announced, so keep eyes and ears peeled for that one.
