Laying its foundations with a successful first outing last year, Peckham Rye Music Festival returns in 2017 to continue it’s celebration of; in the words of London based DJ, Ethyl, “one of the last bastions of creativity in the city”. Now expanded over two weekends Peckham Rye Music Festival will help resonate the magic of SE15 even louder and truer.
The main event for the festival comes on the opening weekend centring around it’s central hub in Copeland Park, home to a number of the area’s creative independents. To the site, which will comprise of four stages, indoor and out, the festival welcome a host of partners to assist foster their three day music programme, including Balamii Radio, Secretsundaze, Field Maneuvers, South London Record Fair, Inverted Audio and ourselves at Stamp The Wax alongside this year’s south London record label contingent made up of Church, Coastal Haze, First Word Records, Hyperdub Records, and West Friends. As well as the party, leading all the way until the following Sunday 21st May , PRMF will be partnering with local venues to continue in its diverse programming of workshops, talks, and exhibitions across a number of creative and stimulating pursuits. So keep an eye locked for even more to come.
