While there’s one political decision this month that many in the capital will be focussed on, Dance Tunnel are on hand to balance the scale with a few no-brainers.
US producer Ge-Ology, soon to release his first album through Theo Parrish’s Sound Signature, takes control this Friday with Thunder. Berlin’s bright talent Peggy Gou joins Swedish selector Henrik Bergqvist for a night of deep and driving house. Ninja Tune host longtime friends and collaborators Max Graef and Glenn Astro, who’s shared love and understanding for jazz, soul and hip-hop always make their sets an endless dicey bag of fun. This will be a special night to launch their debut album The Yard Work Simulator. Commune celebrate their third birthday with disco king Al Kent and a live set from the surreptitious duo Phrased.
We make a return to the basement for the second installment of the Infusions series, this time inviting Rush Hour records boss Antal for a Brazilian affair. Tama Sumo hosts another love-in with Lakuti helping on selection duties, right before the month is rounded up by a Dimensions Festival takeover with Matthew Herbert taking centre stage on the decks.
