A Croatian island leased by the team behind Unknown Festival, transformed into a music and wellbeing summer paradise.
From the 18th July, Obonjan will launch it’s new eight week music, arts and wellbeing programme intent on creating a unique, all-encompassing cultural experience from its humble island site. The team have certainly come up trumps on the music front boasting a fine selection of acts every week.
One arrival will be West Coast-based rapper and singer songwriter Anderson .Paak, who continues to make waves off the back of his addictive Malibu LP. He will be performing with The Free Nationals band at the island amphitheatre, which will host a number of exciting live performances including Hyperdub signee Jessy Lanza and her blend of electronic, pop and R&B sounds. Loyle Carner will extend his brand of South London rooted hip-hop, while more opiate tones will come from Music From Memory affiliates Gigi Masin and Gaussian Curve. Other acts include Floating Points (Live), Four Tet, Kate Tempest, Gilles Peterson, The Invisible and many more.
