Farr Festival 2016 announce stage breakdowns

The cards have been dealt, now it’s time to count the chips with the stage breakdown of this year’s forest frolicking at Farr Festival.

Heist Recordings assume opening duties with a abel showcase on the Thursday, amassing the generous helping of four label keystones in Detroit Swindle, Nacthbraker, Frits Wentink and Nebraska (live).

Friday will feature the modest 6-hour back-to-back set with Ben UFO, Joy Orbison and Midland, hosted by Trouble Vision, with other headline slots taken up by the tireless Move D, Jeremy Underground and Hunee on the Electric Minds stage. Dance Tunnel curate a packed lineup of Italojohnson, Dorisburg, Evans Bagg and Francis Ingerno Orchestra, FunkinEven and moomin head up Tessellate’s stage and Kon leads the way for Feelings.

On Saturday Sub Club look after the imposing Shack stage, with John Talabot headlining, accompanied by Job Jobse, Palms Trax, Jasper James b2b Harri and Denis Sulta. The Ransom Note are also kept busy with Optimo, Helena Hauf, Paranoid London, Maurice Fulton and Young Marco. More atmospheric and ethereal tones can be expected from Max Cooper headlining Warm Up’s stage, while Gilles Peterson takes the lead on the Boys Own Records stage with a sunset session. Finally, Turf curate a stage of African flavours with two lives sets from Highlife co-founder Auntie Flo and Afriquoi.
