Andrew Ashong, AD Bourke & IG Culture play Far Out’s Sunday Sessions at Ronnie Scotts

Far Out Recordings launch their new event series to be hosted at London’s prestigious Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, throughout April and May. Sunday Sessions will be a weekly party taking over the upstairs area, bringing together live music, DJs, labels and collectives to add new flavour to your Sunday evenings.

South London singer-songwriter Andrew Ashong puts down his guitar and picks up his extensive record bag full of fine and unpredictable cuts. With dance and roots at it’s essence, expect a journey through many a groove that you simply won’t be able to help but invest in.

The rest of the month will welcome more record spinning nourishment from broken beat pioneer IG Culture followed up by a double treat with the seminal jazz-dance selector Patrick Forge alongside store owner and NTS host Charlie Bones bringing the positive eclectic vibes from his Do!! You!!! morning show. Rounding off the month will be cutting edge live electronic performances from Italian producer A.D. Bourke and the young MPC wizard Ben Hauke. May is takeover month, inviting some of London’s institutions to rule the roost including Soul Jazz Records and If Music but not before the Open Vinyl Session on the May 1st. Head down early as it will be a strict first-come first-spin policy.

See the series lineup below and head to Facebook for more info on the first night.
