You may be aware of the site’s previous work; for instance which emcee has the largest vocabulary in hip hop or the etymology of ‘shorty’. Well if not then there couldn’t be a better way to become acquainted. With the help of data provided by Billboard and sound clips and bios from Last.fm, Matthew has created an audio and visual journey through hip hop’s top ten chart tracks dating all the way back to 1989. Highly recommended for those forgotten gems.
