With just over two weeks until Hertfordshire’s very own Farr Festival comes around again, the team behind it have announced a final wave of activities to get us in the mood and a very special final headliner. Building on last year that saw mainly acoustic performers during the day, this year there has been a slight change of tack and the festival will offer a programme of respite away from the forest, in the sun.

Having proved popular last year, Derelicht’s outdoor cinema will be bigger than before, while options like screen printing and giant games give everyone the chance to get away from their tents in the summer sun.

Israeli-via-LA producer and DJ Mor Elian has been added to the billing on our very own woodland stage this year, bringing her unique brand of techno to our ears in the style we’ve come to expect from her in recent months. Take a listen to her exclusive mix for us to get an idea of what’s coming your way.

In terms of food during the day, Farr has pretty much all bases covered, considering their petite size. The Cheese Truck and Fundi Pizza will be serving exactly what they say on the tin, while Eat Claw aim to bring back crab to the British table (or park bench). Having caused a bit of stir with their ‘I Love Sausage’ campaign last year, The Great British Sausage Company return to Farr this year.  Vegan revellers will have plenty of options at Goodness Gracious, while burger-lovers will be served up Jamaican-inspired delights at Boom Burger. As if this wasn’t enough, Shoreditch’s very own Cereal Killers will be on site, alongside Master Crepes, to cater for every craving you might have.

A final ticket warning sees weekend tickets down to the last 400, with Friday and Saturday day options about to sell out.
