We have to admit that this is one of the ‘coolest’ (sorry) venues we’ve ever heard of for a party. Located in Langjökull, the glacier is the second largest ice-cap in Iceland and home to a unique set of man-made tunnels 520 meters below the surface usually brimming with tourists and the odd wedding ceremony.
The midnight sun music festival Secret Solstice, whose line-up includes Wu-Tang, FKA Twigs, The Wailers, Skream, Flight Facilities, Moodymann, Nightmares On Wax, Leon Vynehall and Stormzy, will be holding a not-so secret party on the second night of the festival (20th June) for 70 lucky ticket holders to attend the Icerave.
The lucky few will be entertained on the night with music from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Artwork, and with tickets costing a cool £145, hopefully none of the artists get cold feet.
