Following on from last month’s news of even more eye-popping artistry added to this summer’s Dimensions Festival line-up, today the festival announced the first set of boat parties that will be voyaging across the idyllic Croatian coastline as part of the 4-day music affair.
This year is extra special as we’ll be hosting our very own boat party, taking to the sea with Gerd Janson, a man who has blown us away countless times with his sets over the past few years. Alongside the Running Back label owner will be our trusty STW residents – Robin Sure and Harri Pepper – ready to pamper the decks with golden grooves as we cruise across the shoreline.
Line-ups for the boat parties are varied and encompass the plethora of sub-genres represented in the festival. Of special mention is the Eglo Records barge, featuring a special combination of Floating Points and Hunee alongside mainstay Alexander Nut. The Abandon Silence x Audio Asylum boat invites Motor City Drum Ensemble to play b2b with Jeremy Underground and Resident Advisor‘s offering sees an interesting mixture of Daniel Avery sharing the decks with Horse Meat Disco. Slightly different to the rest, the Hessle Audio boat sees Hodge join the label boss trio of Pearson Sound, Ben UFO and Pangaea.
Check out the first waves (no pun intended) of boat party line-ups below, with a more to be announced on Monday. Tickets go on sale Wednesday 10th June at 8pm and are only available for festival ticket holders which are still available here.
