Farr Festival is dissimilar to other offerings on the market because of the coupling of its homely atmosphere with well-considered lineups. Taking place in leafy Hertfordshire, merely a stone’s throw from London, the Farr family have opted to build on the strengths of last year and expanded the forest stages, packing in some more music on the Thursday night as well.
This second wave of artists includes DJ Koze, Roman Flügel and Bristol sweetheart, Shanti Celeste. Moodymann-endorsed Dan Shake will be making an appearance alongside Stamp favourite, Arnaldo. Also of special mention is the lineup for the NTS Radio stage, including their posse of Bradley Zero, Tasker, Moxie and Jon Rust.
These names are being added to a bill that already has headliners in the form of Âme, Midland, Prosumer and Gerd Janson. While the festival is not the biggest in the UK today, just by going on last year’s event, it is one of the best, combining all the right elements to maximise fun while not scrimping on a great lineup. Farr has to be experienced to be understood, and there’s never been a better time!
