Carrying on in the same vein as today’s news of both Björk and Levon Vincent‘s upcoming albums, Pearson Sound (né David Kennedy) has just let loose that his forthcoming album will be out on his jointly owned dance music label Hessle Audio in early March. Don’t miss Benji B’s BBC Radio One show tomorrow at 1am (GMT) where the album cut of second track ‘Glass Eye’ will be premiered.
In conversation with Resident Advisor, Kennedy explained that the self-titled LP has been produced and recorded over the past two years. Kennedy, the man also responsible for seminal dance tracks under the monikers of Ramadanman and Maurice Donovan, has been dominating house, techno, bass and dance music since he first surfaced in 2006. Despite this long running affiliation with both national and global music scenes, it is only eight years on that he is now issuing his first ever full-length album. We can’t wait for this one!
Pearson Sound LP will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats on 9th March. Catch Pearson Sound playing in Bristol on 31st January, alongside Ben UFO and Pangaea for an Evening With Hessle Audio.
