His latest addition, Mood Muzik 4.5, chronicles his development as both an artist and a person, and nowhere is this more evident than in The Hard Part: the first verse details the effects of his break up and the second thanks Eminem for signing his group Slaughterhouse. His music may not be for everyone, but he is definitely one to listen to when you need to be inspired. An artist who isn’t afraid to tell the truth as raw and as vivid as he does can only be a good thing in a genre that has become so diluted and commercialised.
