Last year we introduced you to the trio A Yellow Man, who fell nicely into the blossoming London scene of soulful and futuristic UK Hip-Hop (also see Barney Artist and 2morrows Victory). Their track 3000 Miles of Youth made our list of favourites for 2012, but after it was released things went a bit quiet. Then news surfaced of a rebrand: they became Hawk House and dropped a mixtape not long after. Thankfully it’s more of the same, weaving together immaculate production, the slick and sometime heavy-hitting verse (see Save It For Another Day) of brothers Emmanuel and Samuel, and the soulful voice of Demae Chioma Wodu.
