Far East Flight, a project made up of two Lithuanian hailing DJs Jokios Kulturos and Adventure Society, looks back to early trance and rave culture on their debut LP. Peppered with spirited and upbeat offerings throughout the 8-track run, the eponymous long player pays homage to times past whilst looking in worldly directions for its inspiration.
‘Dreamster’, track four in their globetrotting 90s odyssey, rolls through lazy breaks and arpeggiated synths in the near 6-minute run. Bouncy trance nods are abundant, yet a dream-like, tripped-out aura is channelled through the keys and bass, giving the track an ambience that’s otherwise absent across the rest of the LP.
