Dubbed as Spain’s new house master, Barcelona-based DJ and producer, Pau Roca exudes his love of house, disco, boogie, electronic and everything in between through his high energy sets and colourful productions. Spending the last decade gracing Spanish hotspots like Nitsa, where he hosts his fiery Libido party, running Bons and Escola Records, and holding releases on Black Money and Pleasure of Love, Pau has proven himself to be a formidable force worthy of his title.
For his debut vinyl release of original tracks, Pau Roca returns to Pleasure Of Love with Euphoria, a four-track cruise through cool, hazy Balearic house. Transporting us to tropical sun-flecked shores is ‘Marble Arch’, a chugging deep Italo house number with a Spanish twist. Powered by heavy kicks and a hypnotising resonant lead, Pau splashes colour and complexity by filtering in breaks, teasing in percussion and layering in choir sounds for amplified mesmerism.
